Finished after five years....

I first managed to track down a copy of romance of the Three kingdoms about five years ago and was struggling with the translation on and off for five years or so.
I recently got a copy of a different translation and have finally finished this great book.
ha ha sadly this makes me extremely happy and I just thought I'd add it to my journal.

apparently there's a saying in China that goes:

"The young shouldn't read Water Margin while the old shouldn't read The Three Kingdoms."

I don't feel that old and so I reckon I'm okay on that front...unfortunately I'm just about to start reading the Water Margin now so I'm in trouble there.

Thanks for everyone's support over the past few days - I'm hoping to post some new work fairly soon.

Ha ha very true... of course Outlaws of the Marsh is the same length and by the same author - so here's to finishing it before 2013 (when clearly I'll have a robot to read it to me or something cool like that)
