I'm not so happy with the final version and I finally found the original sketch - this is a lot closer to what I wanted to achieve.
I guess sometimes a 30 second sketch works a lot better than the final version.

Anyway this was for :iconhollowdeathwish:

I like the sketch - greyscale seems more appropriate to the Victorian feel of the piece than the colour version. Might work well tidied up as an old fashioned illustration, lots of hatching etc

Cool! I do this as well, come up with a concept/sketch that looks good in that format, but never works out when I do the full ink/colour piece.

I think the only thing that comes across better in this piece is the desperation of Jeckyll which seems to be almost missing from the other piece! But the other had a better sense of drama through the use of red and Hyde's glowing eyes!

You think? Hmm maybe I'm going to have to try and combine the two - I sense it would work best in Black, white and Red as a colour scheme?
